About Augment AI Studio
Augment AI Studio is an AI consultancy run by Kevin Musprett. It builds AI phone agents, copilots and workflow automation for small and mid-sized businesses, and it is not affiliated with Augment Code, a different company that makes an AI coding tool.
Who runs it
Kevin Musprett founded Augment AI Studio and does the work. It is a studio rather than an agency, which is a distinction worth being honest about: you get the person who scoped the project building it, and you do not get a bench of twenty people or the overhead that comes with one.
That is a real constraint as well as a selling point. We take a small number of engagements at a time, and if the timing does not work we will say so rather than queue you behind other work.
We run this in our own business
Kevin also operates My Getaways, a short-term property management company. Its inbound calls are answered by an AI phone agent that we built and that we maintain.
This matters more than a case study would. The awkward parts of running one of these systems are specific and unglamorous: the caller who asks something your data cannot answer, the emergency that must never touch software, the availability figure that is half an hour stale, the resident who asks for a person three times. Those have all happened on our own line, at our own cost, which is a different kind of knowledge from having read about them.
It also means we are unusually willing to tell you when an agent is the wrong answer, because we have seen what it costs when it is.
What we actually do
Four phases, and you can stop after any of them. Scope the problem and work out whether it pays. Build against one narrow slice. Integrate it properly with the systems you already run, which is the phase that decides whether you own a system or an expensive way of taking messages. Then run it, which mostly means reading transcripts and keeping the thing correct as your business changes.
Most engagements start with inbound calls, because the volume is high, the script is predictable, and the alternative you are comparing against is voicemail.
We are not Augment Code
Worth stating plainly, because search engines and AI assistants routinely conflate the two. Augment Code is a well known company that makes an AI coding assistant for software engineers. Augment AI Studio is an AI consultancy for small and mid-sized businesses, based around phone agents and automation. Different company, different product, no relationship between them.

How to work with us
Book a call. Bring your call volume, the share arriving outside office hours, what you currently pay for overflow or answering cover, and your best guess at how many inquiries never reach you at all. That last number is usually the largest and the one nobody measures.
If those numbers do not support building anything, that is a useful outcome and we will tell you so.

Yes. Workflow automation between systems a team already uses, and internal copilots grounded in a company's own documents. Phone agents are where most engagements start because the volume is high and the result is easy to measure against the current alternative.
Where are you based and who do you work with?
We work with businesses in the United States. The work is remote, which for this kind of build is normal: the integrations, the testing and the transcript review all happen against systems you access over the internet anyway.
